The Fan Favorite in Tax Preparation

TaxSlayer's sports affiliations set us apart from our competition.

Sports Affiliation

TaxSlayer partners with people and events that uphold the same values that we strive to have in our work and products. We are committed to getting our customers back to the things they enjoy like watching the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, NASCAR, or the PGA.

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl

In 2012, college football's Gator Bowl was renamed the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl. Three years later, the company earned exclusive naming rights to the bowl game for six years. This extended partnership enabled the Bowl to negotiate long term conference and television agreements.

The TaxSlayer Bowl is televised on ESPN and features a team from the Southeastern Conference that serves as the anchor team. That team faces an opponent from the Big Ten Conference or the Atlantic Coast Conference.

In 2018, TaxSlayer decided to honor a 74-year old tradition by adding the word "Gator" back into the bowl name, becoming the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. A new logo was also created to honor this longstanding history of being one of the longest held college bowl games in the United States.

“It is rare to find special companies that share the same values and goals and we are fortunate to have found such a partner in TaxSlayer. It is a great partnership that will enable the Bowl game to maintain its stature on the national level as one of the top tier Bowl games in the country,”

Rick Catlett, Bowl President and CEO.

In 2009, TaxSlayer began partnering with NASCAR. The affiliation grew in 2011 when we partnered with the JR Motorsports team. Our past sponsored drivers include Bobby Labonte, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Regan Smith.

In 2019, TaxSlayer launched a partnership with driver, Myatt Snider. In 2018, Myatt was named the NASCAR Truck Series Rookie of the Year.

TaxSlayer has sponsored several PGA golfers over the years, including Patrick Reed. We currently sponsor Henrik Norlander, Scott Parel, and Kevin Kisner.

Henrik Norlander turned professional in 2011 after helping Augusta State University win the 2010 NCAA Division I Championship. He rejoined the PGA tour in 2019.

Scott Parel started his golf career in 1996. Since then, he has won several tournaments, including the 2016 Boeing Classic and the 2018 Invesco QQQ Championship.

Kevin Kisner played golf at the University of Georgia, and after graduating in 2006 he turned professional. He joined the PGA Tour in 2011. He has three PGA wins to date: 2015 RSM Classic, 2017 Dean & DeLuca Invitational, and 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
